Sophie Hautala

Sophie Hautala has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design and related roles. Sophie started their career as a Cashier and Tea Barista at Jolie Tea Company in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a Cashier and Coffee Barista at Tartine Kitchen and Eatery. Sophie then gained experience as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Jolie Tea Company from 2018 to 2020.

In 2019, Sophie took on multiple roles including Student Creative Director and Editorial Designer at Medley Magazine, as well as a Marketing and Graphic Design Intern at Zoo New England. Sophie also worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Syracuse University during this time.

Sophie's freelance graphic design work continued with HealthTrackRx from 2020 to 2021. Sophie also served as a Social Media Designer and Strategist at JMA Organic from 2020 to 2021.

Most recently, Sophie joined Hook in 2021 as a Junior Designer, and then transitioned to the role of Mid Designer in 2022.

Sophie Hautala attended Syracuse University from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communications Design. Additionally, they pursued a minor in English and Textual Studies. Sophie completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communications Design at Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts.
