Elena Palumbo-Sergnese

Elena Palumbo-Sergnese is HOOPP’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources.

With more than 25 years of experience in human resources, Elena has been instrumental in launching and shaping HOOPP’s talent management strategy, award-winning learning and development programs, employee relations initiatives and several programs designed to continuously enhance our employee experience. An authentic and progressive leader, Elena is passionate about building high-performance cultures and creating opportunities for employees to develop and excel. Prior to joining HOOPP in 2016, Elena held various roles leading learning and development programs at two major Canadian banks.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Toronto, Adult Learning and Development Certificate from Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and is a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP).
