Rob Horton

Chief Operating Officer at Hoosier Energy

Rob Horton has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Rob started their career with Hoosier Energy REC, Inc. in 1999, where they held various roles including Auxiliary Operator, Intern - Safety, and Flu Gas Desulfurization - Shift Supervisor. In 2004, they became a Material Handling Supervisor at the same company. Rob then joined Hoosier Energy in 2005 as a Safety Specialist and later became a Fuels Analyst. Rob moved up the ranks and became the Department Manager - Fuels in 2008. In 2015, Rob was promoted to Vice President, Power Production and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer since November 2018.

Rob Horton attended Clay City Jr/Sr High School from 1991 to 1995. Rob then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Safety Management at Indiana State University from 1996 to 1999.
