Helen Mitchell completed a Master of Science in Public Health at Curtin University in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion from the same university in 1996. In 1992, Helen earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Curtin University, following a Diploma of Applied Science in Nursing in 1991. Helen attended Penrhos College from 1986 to 1988. Additionally, Helen participated in the Department of Health WA Cultivating Leadership Program conducted by the Australian Institute of Management in 2016 and completed the Leadership WA Rising Leaders Program in 2013.
