Latonya Rowe

Latonya Rowe is an experienced first grade teacher at Highland Elementary in the Johnson County School District, where employment began in August 1999. Recognition includes being awarded the 2014 Digital Innovator and serving as a Tech Tool Presenter at various conferences across Kentucky. Latonya holds multiple leadership roles, such as the 2017 KY Hope Street Fellow and Chairperson for ECET2EKY, actively promoting effective teaching practices. Additional contributions include advocacy for innovative teaching through engagEDKY, committee membership for the ECET2KY planning committee, involvement in curriculum development for the Mars Mission, and service as a board member for Little Light Academy.
