Donna O'Connor, AFC®, FFC®

Program Manager, Financial Capability | Financial Coach at Hopelink

Donna O'Connor has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Donna currently works at Hopelink as a Program Manager, Financial Capability and Financial Coach since April 2019. Prior to this, Donna worked as a Financial Coach at AFSC/Magellan Federal partnered with Hopelink from March 2015 to March 2019. Donna also served as the Director & Treasurer at The Development Group for Alternative Policies since 2000. Donna has experience in the non-profit sector as well, having worked as the Executive Director at Choral Arts from February 2013 to 2015 and as a Managing Director at Choral Arts from August 2009 to April 2011. Donna also worked as a Consultant for their own business from August 2003 to 2015. Before that, Donna held management positions at Teachers for Tomorrow and The Development GAP. Donna began their career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in 1995, where they worked on various projects such as small business and bank advising, women in development, and serving youth. Prior to that, they worked at PNC Bank as an Assistant Vice President from 1990 to 1995.

Donna O'Connor, AFC®, FFC®, holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Villanova University. In addition to their academic background, Donna has obtained certifications in the field of financial counseling and coaching. Donna received the AFC® (Accredited Financial Counselor) certification in February 2016 from the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE®). Donna also obtained the FFC® (Financial Fitness Coach) certification in May 2017 from AFCPE®.
