Kamal L. Marell

Kamal L. Marell, M. Ed. possesses extensive experience in social services and education, currently serving as the Executive Director of The Monkey & The Elephant since October 2022. Previously, Kamal worked at the People's Emergency Center from 2016, holding roles as Program Manager for the Center of Parenting, Children, and Youth Services, and Education Coordinator. From 2011 to 2016, Kamal served as a Social Worker for NET, focusing on the safety of children and families within the Philadelphia area. Kamal earned a Master of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Clemson University.
