Dr. Tina Barringer

Dr. Tina Barringer is currently the Director of Elementary Instruction at Hopewell City Public Schools. Dr. has been with the district since January 2011, first as the Supervisor of Math, Science, and Instructional Technology, and then taking on their current role in 2016. Prior to their time at Hopewell City Public Schools, Dr. Barringer served as Principal of Dupont Elementary School from October 2003 to December 2010.

Dr. Tina Barringer holds a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech, a Masters from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Middle School Education from Liberty University.

They work with Kristina Truell - Supervisor of Career and Technical Education, Health and PE, Cheryl Webb - Director of Assessment, and Burlin Gregory - Director of Innovation. Dr. Tina Barringer reports to Dr. Melody Hackney, Superintendent.
