Ashly Priest

Head of Events Services at Hopin

Ashly Priest is the current head of events services at Hopin. Ashly has extensive experience in event planning and management, having previously served as the director of events and experiential for the Women in Analytics Conference. In this role, they were responsible for expanding the strategy and vision for the organization as part of continued growth plans for large-scale, annualized events. Ashly also devised complex event programming for 1,500 attendees featuring several overlapping segments at multiple locations, including brand and sponsor activations, receptions, keynotes, networking, etc.

In their previous position as head of events services at Hopin, Ashly was responsible for executing day-of event needs in conjunction with production partners and venue, speakers / talent handling, sponsor relationship and logistics needs, vendor coordination, volunteer oversight, etc. Ashly also fostered and managed relationships with over 20 vendors, as well as conducting vendor research, outreach, and vetting processes. Negotiated vendor contracts, turning several into recurring, in-kind sponsorships.

Before joining Hopin, Ashly worked as a design + retail marketing specialist at Darkest Star. In this role, they were responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns that increased sales and brand awareness. Ashly also managed the company's social media accounts, designed promotional materials, and oversaw the production of merchandise.

Ashly Priest has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School.

Their manager is Adam Kwiecinski, General Manager, Hopin Events.
