Jaafar Bennouna

Jaafar Bennouna serves as the Head of the Medical Oncology Department at Hopital Foch since September 2021 and holds a professorship in medical oncology at Université de Nantes since September 2005. Additionally, Jaafar Bennouna is an MD and PhD affiliated with the Cancer Research Center - INSERM 892 (Team 9) since 2011. Previously, Jaafar Bennouna was a medical oncologist and Head of the Medical Oncology Department at the Institut de cancérologie de l'Ouest until February 2017 and held the position of President of the CME there. Jaafar Bennouna also served as Head of the Department of Teaching and Scientific Affairs at Centre René Gauducheau from 2001 to 2009 and worked as a research associate at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from 1999 to 2001. Educational credentials include a Medical Degree and Board Certification in oncology from University Nantes and a Master’s Degree in human biology from Université Rennes I, along with further qualifications in educational methods and research methodology.
