Sophie Trestler

Sophie Trestler is an experienced design professional with a focus on UX and UI in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Physical UX Manager at Volvo Cars since March 2024, Trestler also holds the position of UX UI Design Manager at Hopium since November 2021. Previous roles include Design Manager and Senior Lead Designer at Human Horizons, where projects emphasized redefining human mobility through advanced UX/UI and interior design. Trestler has a strong background in industrial design and concept development, having worked as Senior Lead Designer at Uedelhoven GmbH & Co. KG and held positions at BMW Group and AUDI AG, specializing in tangible user interfaces and interactive interiors. Trestler's educational background includes a master's degree in Industrial Design from the University of Applied Sciences in Graz and studies at the University of Arts, Essen.
