Faril A. Bunner

Faril A. Bunner is an experienced music educator and administrator currently serving as the Band Director at North Jr. High School and several elementary schools in Evansville since July 2016. Additionally, Faril holds the position of Assistant Principal, focusing on school discipline and safety, and is recognized as an Indiana School Safety Specialist. Faril has been involved with Horace Mann as an Insurance Specialist since May 2023. Prior experience includes Music Director/Conductor for River Brass, achieving notable success in competitions, and serving as a Band Director in the Warrick County School Corporation, where responsibilities included teaching multiple grade levels and coaching. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Master of Arts in School Administration from Oakland City University.
