Maxence Godard

Head of Acquisition at Horace

Maxence Godard has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to present. Maxence started their career as a Chargé de communication at SNCF, where they focused on enhancing the image of the TGV through various communication initiatives. Later, they joined AMC Promotion as an Assistant attaché presse & communication, where they were responsible for promoting and raising the profile of the Mondial de l'Automobile event.

After that, Maxence worked as a Chef de projets marketing digital at O2 Care Services, leading digital transformation projects and managing the brand's online reputation. Maxence then moved on to EDJI as a Responsable du marketing digital, where they developed and executed a digital marketing strategy resulting in a 170% increase in sales.

Maxence gained experience in growth and acquisition at PayPlug, a French online payment solution, where they managed and optimized paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Facebook Ads and Google Ads. Presently, they are working at Horace as the Head of Acquisition, responsible for developing and managing various acquisition channels, including paid social media campaigns, CPC campaigns, SEO, offline campaigns, and affiliate marketing. Additionally, they closely monitor KPIs and performs continuous optimizations through A/B testing and analysis.

Maxence Godard completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing from ESIAME from 2009 to 2012. Maxence then pursued a Master's degree in Management de la communication d'entreprise from ESSCA Angers from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Maxence also obtained several certifications to enhance their digital marketing skills. In November 2017, they received a certification in Advanced Digital Marketing from LiveMentor. Furthermore, Maxence obtained certifications in various Google Ads specializations, including Certification in Shopping Ads in February 2020, Certification in Google Ads for the Search Network in January 2020, and Basics of Google Ads in August 2019.
