Sean Travers

Sean Travers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the life sciences and technical sales sectors. Currently serving as the Life Sciences Account Manager for HORIBA Scientific since August 2021, Sean previously held roles as a Technical Sales Representative at Anatom Technology from March 2012 to August 2021, and at RIgaku Raman Technologies from January 2012 to July 2016, where contributions included refining instruments from prototype to market-ready versions. Sean's academic background features a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Florida, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Math from Elon University. Additional experience includes a graduate research position at the University of Florida and a role as an Entry Level Food Science Researcher at TIC Gums, as well as teaching organic chemistry at Elon University.
