Mat Horst has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Store Manager for Abercrombie & Fitch, overseeing daily operations and managing a high-volume store. In 2017, Mat transitioned to the digital marketing field, joining OMD Worldwide as a Junior Search/Social Specialist, where they led the strategic development and optimization of paid search and social campaigns. In 2018, they joined iProspect, initially as a Business Performance Analyst, responsible for defining KPIs and implementing innovative digital marketing approaches. Mat then served as an Account Manager and later as a Digital Director, where they developed and executed paid digital marketing strategies, drove continuous improvement, and built strong client relationships. In 2021, they joined dentsu international as a Group Director, Digital, overseeing digital initiatives. Most recently, Mat joined Horizon Media Canada in 2022 as the Vice President of Digital Investment & Activation.
Mat Horst has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration from Faculdade Dom Bosco, obtained from 2008 to 2011. Mat also has a Post-Graduate degree in Marketing Management - Financial Services from George Brown College, earned in 2014. In addition, they pursued a course in Digital Marketing at RED Academy in 2017. Mat Horst is also a certified Google AdWords professional.
