Hua C.

Hua C. is an experienced scientist with a robust background in protein engineering and therapeutic antibody development. Currently serving as a scientist at Horizon since June 2023, Hua C. previously held a similar position at Johnson & Johnson from September 2022 to June 2023, where a novel protein engineering method was developed for conditionally active antibodies. Prior experience includes a role as Scientist II/III at Jecho Laboratories, Inc. from August 2020 to September 2022, leading a therapeutic antibody program from inception to candidate nomination. Hua C. also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Scientist at UT Southwestern Medical Center from August 2013 to August 2020, focusing on X-ray and cryo-electron microscopy. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Tsinghua University.
