Michael Desjardin

Michael DesJardin has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Technical Operations at Horizon since March 2017, where responsibilities encompass Supply Chain, Technical Development, and Quality. Previously, DesJardin held the position of SVP of Technical Operations at Raptor Pharmaceuticals, overseeing global Quality, Technical Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, with a focus on PROCYSBI. A senior leader at Jazz Pharma from 2004 to 2015, DesJardin managed a significant manufacturing facility project in Ireland. Earlier, DesJardin was the Executive Director at ALZA, leading the development of advanced drug delivery systems, and began their career at Dow Chemical as a Research Associate. DesJardin earned a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
