Chanita Jones

Chanita Jones, NBCT, has extensive experience in the field of education. Chanita currently serves as the Director of Academic Support Services at Horizons, where Chanita leads the design and execution of academic support services for a diverse group of students in Chicago. Prior to this role, Chanita held various positions such as Special Education Teacher at Chicago Public Schools, Co-Founder & Executive Director at ReCondition Community Cooperative, Project Manager at The Black Star Project, and MTSS Coordinator & Case Manager at University of Chicago Charter School. With a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching, Chanita has a strong background in curriculum adaptation and providing support for students with diverse learning needs.
