Carol M. Morales

Carol M. Morales is an experienced professional currently serving as a Food Safety and Quality Supervisor at Hormel Foods since July 2023, having previously held the role of Associate Quality and Process Control Supervisor. Prior experience includes working as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Minnesota's Cereal and Grains Lab from February 2023 to July 2023, where research focused on the applications and impacts of cereals and grains in industry. Carol began a career with Hy-Vee, Inc. in August 2016 as a Cake Decorator, developing leadership and time management skills. A Quality Assurance Internship at Hormel Foods during summer 2022 provided valuable industry insights, while participation as a THRIVE Scholar at Cargill from January to May 2022 involved boosting representation in agricultural fields for students of color and women. Carol holds a High School Diploma from John Marshall Senior High School and a degree from the University of Minnesota, earned between September 2020 and May 2023.
