Shannon Todd, MBA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in payroll operations and financial management. Currently serving as the Director of Finance for Horry County Government since July 2015, Shannon Todd has held various roles, including Assistant Director of Finance and Finance Operations Manager, overseeing payroll, accounts payable, and budget salary projections. With prior experience as a Payroll Supervisor, Shannon Todd managed payroll processes for over 2,300 employees and was responsible for numerous reporting tasks, including monthly retirement and tax reporting. Additional experience includes staff accountant positions at Boulineaus, Inc. and National Finance Company, where responsibilities included invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and payroll for multiple companies. Shannon Todd holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Coastal Carolina University, along with an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
