Horry County Government
Tony Casey is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public information and media relations. Currently serving as the Public Information Officer for Horry County Government since January 2019, Tony frequently acts as the spokesperson for Horry County Fire Rescue. Previously, from May 2017 to January 2019, Tony worked as the Social Media Coordinator for the Greenville Police Department, where responsibilities included managing social media platforms and enhancing public awareness. Prior to that, from August 2013 to May 2017, Tony served as a Reporter for the Johnson City Press. Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Magazine Journalism from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, which was attained between 2006 and 2008.
