Jean-Christophe Dansereau

Jean-Christophe Dansereau has held various roles in the tech industry since 2016. In 2016, they worked as an Auxiliary Teaching Assistant in Computer Programming at Universit\u00e9 Laval and as a Stagiaire en Ing\u00e9nierie at the Minist\u00e8re des Transports, de la Mobilit\u00e9 durable et de l'\u00c9lectrification des transports. In 2017, they were an Embedded Programmer (C/C++) and Electromechanical Designer at Groupe a\u00e9rospatial de l'Universit\u00e9 Laval and a Stagiaire en Ing\u00e9nierie at the Minist\u00e8re des Transports, de la Mobilit\u00e9 durable et de l'\u00c9lectrification des transports. In 2018, they were an R&D Software Engineer at Frontmatec and a Jr R&D Engineer at Universit\u00e9 Laval. In 2020, they were a Software Developer at PayFacto. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Hortau, where they work with Go, Postgres, and AWS services such as Lambda, IoT, BeanStalk, DynamoDB, S3, SNS and SQS. Additionally, in 2021 they also started a role as a Tech Writer, where they have published articles for large Tech company's blogs on cloud and cyber security, as well as published work for different medium publications.

Jean-Christophe Dansereau attended Cégep Garneau before completing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from Université Laval in 2018.
