Viktor Falkengren

Viktor Falkengren is a seasoned professional in the agtech and food innovation sectors, currently serving as Product Lead at Hortiya since March 2023 and as a Venture Scout at FoodLabs since September 2022. In the role at FoodLabs, Viktor aids scientists and entrepreneurs in transforming innovative ideas into impactful companies through securing pre-seed and seed financing, contributing to the growth of ventures addressing challenges within the food value chain. Prior experience includes positions as a Horticulturist at farmie, managing operational tasks in vertical farming, and as an R&D Scientist at INFARM, where Viktor conducted research to optimize energy use in crop production. Viktor's academic background includes a Master of Science in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Freshwater Biology from Edinburgh Napier University.
