Sara Olmsted has over a decade of experience in the medical and social work fields. Sara began their career in 2008 as a Youth and Family Counselor at Sweetser. In 2009, they joined Creative Work Systems as a Team Leader and CRMA, Direct Support Professional. Sara then became a Community Case Manager at Creative Work Systems in 2011. In 2013, they took on the roles of Per Diem Direct Care Worker and Community Case Manager at PSL Services. In 2014, they began working at Alternative Wellness Services as a MHRT-C. Sara then became a Care Coordinator at the same company in 2017. That same year, they also began working at Pathways By Molina as a Home & Community Based Clinician. In 2018, they joined Beacon Hospice, an Amedisys company, as a Medical Social Worker. Sara is currently employed at Hospice of Southern Maine in the same role.
Sara Olmsted received their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Southern Maine in 2008. In 2014, they earned a Master's Degree and a Master of Social Work from the University of New England. Sara also holds two certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the State of Maine and MHRT-C.
