Vanessa Jaques

Vanessa Jaques is an experienced Ortoptista currently serving at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve since July 2023 and at Hospital de Loulé since May 2015. Vanessa's background includes volunteer work at ACAPO from January 2013 to January 2015 and internships at USF Descobertas and Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Central in 2014 and 2013, respectively. Vanessa holds a Postgraduate Degree in Gestão de Unidades de Saúde from Universidade do Algarve, completed in 2021, and has pursued various additional education courses, including Spanish language and specialized training in orientation, mobility techniques for visually impaired individuals, Braille, and Portuguese sign language.
