Laura Latorre Moreno

Laura Latorre Moreno is a data scientist and research technician currently affiliated with the Hospital del Mar Research Institute since January 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a waitress at COBA taqueria, an AI researcher intern at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, a sales assistant at Inditex, and a teaching assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Laura also served as a research software engineer at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and contributed to the development of a 3D Slicer extension for the Epilepsy Unit. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona.
