Christian Renner

Christian Renner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the hospitality industry. Christian began their career at VIP as a Barchef in 2006 before moving on to The Dinex Group as a Sommelier/Assistant Captain at Restaurant Daniel, a three Michelin-starred establishment. In 2008, they interned as a Sommelier at The Waterside Inn, another Michelin-starred restaurant. Christian then joined Hotel Post Ischgl as an Assistant Restaurant Manager/Sommelier and later became a Restaurant Manager/Sommelier at Parkhotel Pörtschach. In 2009, they worked as a Sommelier at Enoiteca Il Calice before returning to Hotel Post Ischgl as a Restaurant Manager/Sommelier. In 2010, they joined Hotel Post Ischgl as a Restaurant Manager/Sommelier before transitioning to Restaurant Aigner am Gendarmenmarkt as a Director of Restaurant in 2012. Moving on, they worked at the Berlin Marriott Hotel as a Director of Restaurant for a brief period in 2017. Christian Renner then joined HOSPITALITY.digital in 2017 as an Account Manager Metropolitan Pilot Berlin, where they managed accounts and oversaw the integration of digital solutions. Christian was later promoted to Digital Integration Manager, responsible for overseeing digital integration projects. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Digital Integration at HOSPITALITY.digital, leading a team and developing communication processes for DISH products in multiple countries.

Christian Renner completed an apprenticeship as a Restaurant Specialist from 2000 to 2003. Christian obtained the degree of Restaurantfachmann/ Restaurant Specialist during this period. After that, they pursued a Diploma Sommelier at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, although the exact dates are not known.
