Fergus Boyd

Fergus Boyd, PhD, is an accomplished technology and business advisor with extensive experience in the hospitality and technology sectors. Currently serving as a business advisor, NED, CTO, trustee, and investor at IPDividual since June 2022, Fergus provides strategic support in technology stack reviews and revenue management. Contributions to the industry also include roles on the HITEC EU Education Advisory Council and as an Industry Associate of the Institute of Business Creativity at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Notably, previous positions include Global Head of IT Support and Hospitality Services at Soho House & Co, Interim Chief Technology Officer at MindSauce, and VP/Group Director of IT at Red Carnation Hotels. Recognized as one of the top 100 CIOs in the UK during tenure at YOTEL, Fergus has also held various leadership roles at Virgin Atlantic Airways, shaping eBusiness strategies and innovations. Fergus holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
