Yelan Choy

Yelan Choy has extensive experience in product safety, compliance, and quality management. Yelan currently holds the position of Senior Manager at Hot Topic, where they oversee these areas. Prior to that, they worked at The Walt Disney Company as a Senior Product Integrity Analyst, responsible for managing the new wholesale takeover program and developing testing and inspection programs. Yelan also worked closely with laboratories to develop product protocols for various regions. Before Disney, Yelan worked at Lakeshore Learning Materials as a QA Safety & Testing Agent, where they reviewed and updated quality assurance guidelines, developed testing procedures, evaluated products for potential hazards, and ensured regulatory compliance. Yelan also worked at Specialized Technology Resources, Inc. and Intertek Testing Services as an Account Manager and Account Executive Supervisor, respectively, where they worked with Fortune 500 and global companies to ensure corporate social responsibility and managed business accounts.
