Islam Mostafa

Islam Mostafa has a diverse work experience in design and management roles. Islam is currently the Head of Design at Hotdesk since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Head of Design at Swvl from June 2020 to December 2021, where they also held the position of Senior Graphic Designer from September 2019 to June 2020. Islam was the Design Lead at Gigaaa from February 2018 to September 2018. Islam also co-founded and served as a partner at Gym Apparel Egypt from January 2013 to June 2018. Furthermore, they worked as a Design Team Lead at 004 GmbH from February 2016 to January 2018 and as a Senior Graphic Designer at Nineteen84 Management from October 2011 to January 2016.

Islam Mostafa completed their Master's degree in Technology (MTech) from Touro University between 2022 and 2024. In May 2023, they obtained additional certifications such as "Getting Started in User Experience," "UX Design: 1 Overview," and "UX Foundations: Research (2016)" from LinkedIn.
