Sara Marston

Sara Marston is the General Counsel at Hotel Tonight. Sara has held this position since July 2018. Prior to that, they were the General Counsel at Upside Business Travel from May 2017 to July 2018. Before that, they were the General Counsel at Refinery29, Inc. from May 2014 to May 2017.

Sara began their career as a Marketing Project Manager at Cross Media Marketing Corp. from December 2001 to August 2002. Sara then became a Client Marketing Specialist at Official Payments from March 2000 to November 2001. In November 2011, they joined Google/YouTube as Corporate Counsel and held that position until May 2014. Sara then joined eMusic as Assistant General Counsel in May 2004 and held that position until July 2011. Sara also served as the Director of Legal and Business Affairs at The Orchard from May 2004 to April 2006.

Sara Marston pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) at New York Law School and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology with a business minor from Temple University.

Sara Marston reports to Sam Shank, CEO & co-Founder. They work with Cammy Houser - Head of Hotel Tomorrow, Brian Han - Head of Performance Marketing & Retention, and Jatinder Singh - Chief Technology Officer.
