Catherine Joudrey

Catherine Joudrey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2001, they started as a Constituency Assistant for Hon. Graham Steele, MLA, where they focused on strategic communications, website management, and policy analysis. Catherine also served as a Campaign Manager for Elections Work in 2009, leading a team of volunteers and staff and achieving a significant increase in votes. Additionally, Catherine worked as an Office Administrator for PopReach Incorporated in 2018, an Office Coordinator for Hothead Games from 2016 to 2018, and a Human Resources Office Coordinator for S&P Global Market Intelligence from 2015 to 2016, handling various administrative tasks and supporting organizational transitions. Catherine also gained experience as an Assistant to the Director of Strategic Partners for the Atlantic Film Festival in 2015, conducting research and managing data. Finally, Catherine worked as a Communications Officer for Saint Mary's University from 2013 to 2014, developing communication plans and creating content for various events and projects. Currently, they are the Human Resources Information Manager at Hothead Games.

Catherine Joudrey began their education at the Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC in 1999, where they studied Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. Catherine then attended Dalhousie University in 1998 for an unspecified field of study. In 2004, Catherine obtained a Certificate in Graphic Design from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Catherine later pursued a Diploma in Public Relations at the University of Victoria from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Catherine received a Certificate in Prior Learning Assessment in 2014. In 2015, they also completed coursework in Academic Writing & Critical Thinking at Royal Roads University and obtained a Certificate in Photography from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Catherine is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Professional Communication at Royal Roads University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
