Marvin Zagrosh

Marvin Zagrosh has extensive experience in project management and various roles within the technology and gaming industry. Marvin is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at Hothead Games as of February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Project Manager at Simon Fraser University from December 2020 to January 2022.

Marvin also has experience working at Canfor as an HRIS Project Manager from July 2018 to March 2020, where they focused on creating project management workflows and processes, as well as implementing SuccessFactors projects. At i-Open Technologies from December 2017 to May 2018, they worked as a PM/QC Specialist, where they created project management and quality control workflows and provided input on quality assurance processes.

From 2011 to 2016, Marvin worked at CGI as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager. Marvin'sresponsibilities included project management, organizational change management, and consulting for various companies. Marvin also worked at Electronic Arts (Canada) from May 2004 to March 2011 as a Senior Project Manager, managing multiple projects and collaborating with development teams to improve processes and save costs.

Marvin started their career at Discovery Software LTD from November 2000 to April 2002 as a Software Quality Assurance Technician/Tester Lead, where they managed project defects and created test plans and strategies. Prior to that, they worked at Linx Americas (Pre Print Inc) from June 1998 to August 2000 as a System Analyst/Research and Development/Developer, and at TLA Management LTD in January-February 2000 as a Web Designer.

Marvin's early experience includes working at Boychuk Transport as a System Analyst from September 1997 to December 1997, where they designed and implemented a maintenance scheduling system using Access97 and Easy Case Professional Tool.

Throughout their career, Marvin Zagrosh has demonstrated strong project management skills, expertise in implementing workflows and processes, and a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.

Marvin Zagrosh's education history includes a Professional Diploma in Project Management obtained from Shaw Academy in the year 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Computer Systems Technology Diploma in Computer Science from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) between 1995 and 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Marvin has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In January 2022, they obtained the SAFe Agilist Certification from Simplilearn. In June 2021, they became a Wicked Problem Solving Practitioner certified by the Project Management Institute. Marvin also completed various online courses, including "Learning Python," "Strategic Thinking," and "Business Development: Strategic Planning" from LinkedIn, all in September 2020. Marvin obtained the ITIL - Foundation 2011 certification from Loyalist Certification Services in August 2013. Furthermore, Marvin became a Certified ScrumMaster certified by the Scrum Alliance in September 2015.
