Samuel J. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Samuel began their career in 2001 as a Field Technician at Contract Callers Inc. and worked there until 2004. In 2005, they joined Tekmark Global Solutions as a Build Technician before moving on to BravoTECH in 2006 as a Desktop Support Analyst. Later that year, they became a Desktop Support Engineer LV2 at TEKsystems / PC Networks / IBM (Amtrak) and held that role until 2010. Since 2010, they have been working at Hotwire Communications Ltd, starting as an NOC Engineer II and currently serving as an Engineer.

Samuel J. attended The Chubb Institute-Springfield from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Network Security. Samuel has also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including CompTIA A+ in 2007, Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate from Cisco in May 2020, and several certifications from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, such as Cyber Threats and Attack Vectors, Detecting and Mitigating Cyber Threats and Attacks, Proactive Computer Security, and Introduction to Cybersecurity for Business, all obtained in April 2019. Furthermore, Samuel has completed programming and data courses from the University of Michigan, including Python Data Structures in May 2017, Using Python to Access Web Data in June 2017, and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) in April 2017.
