Jodie Mateu

VP of Special Events & Productivity at HOTWORX

Jodie serves as the VP of Special Events & Productivity and has been with the company since December of 2000. She holds a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Certified Franchise Executive designation from the International Franchise Association. Upon graduating, Jodie held a management position at a New Orleans based Planet Beach Spa and then transitioned to the role of Franchise Performance Consultant and Grand Opening Specialist in February 2002. In 2004, she was promoted to serve as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and became a Planet Beach Franchisee. In 2016, she was awarded the title of VP of Special Events & Productivity with the goal of enhancing productivity among the executive team. In addition to ensuring productivity and supporting the CEO, she facilitates the annual Franchise Convention, which serves as the number one training and networking event each year. She has an extreme passion for fitness and event planning and currently resides in Metairie, La with her husband and two children, Blake & Taylor.
