Adekola Obayomi Ceng

Adekola Obayomi CEng, MIMarEST has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Adekola Obayomi currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at Houlder Limited, where they are responsible for project life cycle leadership and various key responsibilities including RFQ response, proposal management, client liaison, structural engineering analysis and design projects, on-site installation support, mentoring graduate engineers, and technical support for offshore structural operations.

Prior to their current role, Adekola worked as a Principal Structural Engineer at Worley and held a similar position at Houlder Limited. In these roles, they contributed to the design and engineering consultancy services, played a critical role in the energy transition, and managed project life cycles from initial client contact to project completion.

Adekola's previous work experiences include roles as a Project Engineer at LOC, Senior Engineer at Prospect Flow Solutions Ltd., Civil/Structural Engineer at Amazon Energy Limited, Senior Engineer at Arup, and Civil Engineer at Intecon Partnership. Adekola Obayomi began their career as a Graduate Engineer at Reynolds Construction Company.

Throughout their career, Adekola has gained expertise in structural engineering, project management, client relations, mentoring, and technical support. Adekola Obayomi has continuously demonstrated their ability to deliver dependable solutions and contribute to the success of various projects in the marine and energy industries.

Adekola Obayomi received a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin in 2002. Adekola Obayomi then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Subsea Engineering from the University of Aberdeen in 2014.
