Rodrigo Gonzalez Cardenas

Rodrigo Gonzalez Cardenas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rodrigo is currently working as the Head of Frontend Engineering at Houm since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the eCommerce Web Engineering Lead at Tile from November 2021 to March 2022.

Rodrigo also worked at Cornershop, where they held multiple positions. From September 2020 to October 2021, they served as the Frontend tech lead, leading two Front End teams and focusing on coding skills and problem solving. Prior to that, from January 2020 to September 2020, they worked as a Frontend engineer, implementing new features and maintaining React apps for the Brands vertical.

Before joining Cornershop, Rodrigo served as a Senior consultant at ThoughtWorks from September 2016 to November 2019. In this role, they designed software solutions for clients in various industries and pitched Agile software project proposals to C-level executives. Rodrigo also facilitated design workshops and created product roadmaps using Design Thinking and Agile practices.

Rodrigo's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Front End Web Developer at Accedo.tv from October 2015 to September 2016, a Technical Manager at Nuwit from January 2015 to October 2015, and a Web Technical Leader at Nuwit from December 2013 to January 2015. Rodrigo was responsible for coordinating web and mobile projects, designing agile processes, managing teams, and reviewing technical progress.

Additionally, Rodrigo worked as a Web Developer at Mobink Labs from May 2012 to December 2013, where they designed and developed web applications and APIs for mobile projects. Rodrigo also served as a Web Developer at Luminosos Correa Electronics in September 2011.

Rodrigo started their career as a System Administrator at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María from July 2008 to July 2010. Rodrigo later joined Entel as a Web Developer in January 2010, where they analyzed and developed web applications to manage deploy requests for the Technical Support department.

Throughout their career, Rodrigo has demonstrated a strong expertise in frontend engineering, leadership, software solution design, Agile methodologies, and collaboration.

Rodrigo Gonzalez Cardenas obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, specifically in Civil Informatics, from the Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria. Rodrigo pursued this degree from 2003 to 2010.
