James Chapman is an experienced professional with a background in political support and communications. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to Jagmeet Singh and Deputy Director of Tour at the House of Commons of Canada since January 2022, James previously held the position of Executive Assistant to Andrea Horwath, Leader of Ontario's Official Opposition NDP, at the Ontario NDP Caucus from May 2019 to December 2021. James has also contributed to the New Democratic Party of Canada in various roles and served as Editor In Chief at Innis Herald. With an academic foundation in Urban Studies/Affairs and Political Science from the University of Toronto - Innis College, James has developed skills that bridge political engagement and community development.
