Kirsty Duncan is a seasoned Canadian politician and academic, currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada since October 2008. Throughout their career, Kirsty held several significant ministerial positions, including Minister of Science and Sport, Minister of Science, Sport, and Persons with Disabilities, and Minister of Science within the Government of Canada from November 2015 to November 2019. Prior to this, Kirsty was a professor at the University of Windsor from 1993 to 2000. Kirsty Duncan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geography from The University of Edinburgh.
