Travis Clawson is an experienced educator and leader in the field of emergency management and training. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), Travis Clawson is responsible for providing training for the municipal extension program in Texas, including instruction and coordination of classes, conferences, and area schools. Previously, Travis Clawson held the position of Fire Chief in the United States Air Force from March 2021 to November 2023, and served as an Air Force Academy Training Instructor from June 2009 to June 2013, where instruction and supervision of cadets in military training were key responsibilities. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Trident University International, a Bachelor of Arts in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from American Military University, and two Associate of Science degrees in Education and Training Management, as well as Fire Science/Fire-fighting from the Community College of the Air Force.
