Ron Mertz

Ron Mertz has a vast and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles in the wine and beverage industry. Ron has held positions such as Executive Vice President of Sales at House of Smith, President of Sales at A to Z Wineworks, President US Operations at Villa Maria Estate, and President at Lion Nathan USA. Ron Mertz has also founded Cumulus Wines Incorporated and served as its Managing Director. Ron has worked in various national accounts and sales management roles at Fosters Wine Estates, Southcorp Wines Ltd., Rosemount Estates, and Johnson Brothers Liquor Co. throughout their career.

Ron Mertz holds an MBA degree with an executive focus from Rockhurst University, which they earned between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications and Psychology from the University of Minnesota, attending from 1987 to 1992. Ron's education journey began at Burnsville Senior High School, where they earned their diploma between 1985 and 1987.
