Chris Bishop has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as Director Legal at the Australian Bankers' Association in 1993. Chris then moved to Telstra, where they served as National General Manager Credit & Collections until 2000. Chris then took on the role of Vice President & Head of Credit & Risk at KEBCS until 2002, when they became Director Credit & Collections at Allco Finance Group. In 2007, they became the Past Chairman of Yve Owners Corporation, and in 2008 they became Principal at Credit and Risk Solutions. In 2010, they began teaching at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law and in 2011 they became Solicitor at Sanderson Weir/First Mortgage Sevices. Finally, in 2018 they became Chief Credit Officer Household Capital.
Chris Bishop attended The Southport School Southport Queensland from 1958 to 1968, where they obtained their Matriculation. Chris then attended the University of Melbourne from 1970 to 1973, where they earned their LLB (Hons) in Law.
