Resident Engagement Lead at Housing 21

Tina Wathern has a diverse work experience in the social housing and advocacy field. Tina began their career at the nia project, where they served as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate from January 2009 to October 2010. Following that role, they became an IRIS advocate/educator from November 2010 to December 2011.

In 2012, Tina joined Stonewall Housing, where they held two positions. Firstly, they worked as the Coordinator for the national older LGBTQ+ housing network from January 2012 to April 2017. Subsequently, they were promoted to the Director of Education and Engagement, a position they held from April 2017 to December 2022.

Currently, Tina works at Housing 21 as the Resident Engagement Lead, a role they started in January 2023.
