Edward Estrada

Edward Estrada is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in public service and community engagement. Currently serving as the SSVF Program Manager at Housing Matters since March 2022, Edward oversees a veterans program aimed at assisting unhoused veterans, managing a team of five staff. Previously, Edward worked as an SSVF Housing Navigator, establishing connections with landlords and social services for housing placements in Santa Cruz County. In addition to this role, Edward is a Trustee on the Board of Education for the Santa Cruz County Office of Education and has held various positions, including Congressional Intern and Student Fellow. As President of the College Democrats at UC Santa Cruz, Edward directed organizational efforts and coordinated political events. Edward's background also includes experience as a Communications Director at UC Santa Cruz and participation in disaster response efforts as a Disaster Service Worker. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
