Alicia Martinez

Alicia Martinez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alicia started their career as an International Trade Intern at Cámara de Comercio de Valencia in 2017, where they focused on developing export strategies for local SMEs and managing CRM. Alicia then joined Grupo Planeta in 2018 as a Product Assistant, where they assisted the Valencian International University team with product portfolio updates and competition analysis, while also supporting the Communication team in content creation for the blog and social media. In 2019, they joined HousingAnywhere as a Recruiter, responsible for full-cycle recruitment for Sales, Customer Solutions, Marketing, HR, and Finance departments. Alicia collaborated closely with hiring managers, defined role and interview processes, and sourced candidates to build a talent pool per department. During their time at HousingAnywhere, they also took on the role of Business Developer, where they conducted lead generation, cold calling, and onboarding of new clients for the ES market, while also assisting the HR team with sourcing and pipeline management. Alicia'snext position was at Sendcloud in 2021 as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they handled full-cycle recruitment for various departments, including Marketing, Finance & Legal, HR, and Security & IT. Alicia partnered with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, actively sourced candidates, and managed the pipeline from IC level to VP role. Alicia is currently working at HousingAnywhere as a Recruiter, a role they started in 2023, where they continue to focus on recruitment activities for the company.

Alicia Martinez completed their undergraduate degree in International Business at the University of Valencia from 2013 to 2017. During their time at the university, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge Assessment English in December 2017. In 2015 to 2016, they also attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in Global Sales & Doing Business in the Digital Age.

Recently, Alicia has been focusing on enhancing their skills in the field of Human Resources and Talent Development. In 2022, they enrolled in the EAE Business School to pursue a Master's degree in Human Resources and Talent Development.

In addition to their formal education, Alicia has also obtained several certifications to further strengthen their professional expertise. In 2021, they received certifications in Recruitment Academy Certified Sourcer (RACS) from Recruitment Academy, People Analytics from LinkedIn, and Performance-Based Hiring from LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Successful Talent Sourcing from WeAreKeen | Tech Talent Partners. Furthermore, they achieved a Coneixements de Valencià Grau Mitjà (C1) certification from Generalitat Valenciana in July 2012.
