Elena Borodina

UX Research Lead at HousingAnywhere

Elena Borodina has a strong background in UX research and design. Elena currently works at HousingAnywhere as the UX Research Lead, where they started in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a User Experience Researcher at the same company starting in December 2021.

Before joining HousingAnywhere, Elena worked at Raiffeisen Bank Russia as the Product Owner and Senior Vice President from April 2021 to November 2021. Elena also held the position of Business Expert in Customer Experience at the bank from May 2020 to March 2021.

Elena's experience also includes working at Joom as a User Experience Researcher from November 2019 to May 2020. During their time at Joom, they played a key role in democratizing UX research and leading international research projects.

Prior to Joom, Elena worked at Gazprombank as the Head of UX Research from August 2018 to November 2019. Elena pioneered UX research at the bank and was responsible for enhancing product quality and usability.

Earlier in their career, Elena worked at Qiwi as a UX Designer/Researcher from November 2014 to July 2018. Elena implemented the RITE methodology in the product development process and served as a mentor for new UX researchers.

Elena's work experience also includes a role as a UX designer at Quelle Russia (ZAO Mail Order Service) from August 2012 to May 2014. Elena began their career at UIDesign Group, where they worked as the Head of UX Research from December 2009 to August 2012. At UIDesign Group, Elena had the opportunity to work on various UX projects and products across web, mobile, and TV platforms.

Elena Borodina obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from State University - Higher School of Economics in the year 2009. Elena then pursued their Master's degree in School of Software Engineering from the same university, which they completed in the year 2011.
