Rachel Carter

Rachel Carter is a geologist currently employed at Houston Energy L.P. since January 2019 and operates as a licensed pedicab operator with Bike Taxi Unlimited in New Orleans. Previous experience includes serving as a PhD candidate at Tulane University and completing a geology internship at Stone Energy Corporation, where significant studies on pore pressure and seismic mapping were conducted. Rachel has also held teaching assistant roles at the University of New Orleans, focusing on various geology courses, and led a team in the Imperial Barrel Award competition. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Structural Geology from Tulane University, a Master’s Degree in Geophysics, and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences, complemented by an Associate of Arts degree.
