Ernie Huwyler, CMP, currently serves as Senior Manager of Destination Events at Houston First since July 2015. Previous experience includes Meeting and Events Manager at AIG (July 2014 - July 2015), where management of global events was a key responsibility. At BMC Software, Inc. (January 2011 - July 2014), Ernie held the position of Event Specialist, leading the planning and execution of over 100 global events annually. Prior experience includes Event Manager at SANS Institute (January 2009 - January 2011), contributing to the development and marketing of profitable summit training. Early in the career, Ernie was the Restaurant Manager at Bon Appetite (January 1995 - January 2002), overseeing operational responsibilities for dining facilities and successfully managing annual budgets.
