João Penas

João Penas has extensive work experience as a software developer and application developer. João began their career as a trainee at Novabase in 2012 and subsequently worked at various companies such as NOVO BANCO and BNP Paribas, gaining experience as a software developer. In 2015, they joined TRAVELSTORE GROUP as a FullStack Developer and later became a Team Leader at Around Vector in 2018. Currently, they hold the role of Principal Application Developer at Hovione since 2022.

João Penas obtained a Licentiate degree in Informatics from the University of Évora from 2008 to 2012. Before that, they completed their high school education in Ciências e Tecnologias from 2006 to 2008 at Escola Secundária Alcácer do Sal. Additionally, João has received several certifications from Udemy in subjects such as web development, Android, and Java. João has also taken courses in ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Applications and Developing Secure Java Web Services from Rumos.
