James Collinge

James Collinge has extensive work experience in HR, with their most recent role as Head of HR at Howard Kennedy LLP starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as Head of HR | Associate Director at Milbank LLP from July 2018 to October 2023. James also held the position of HR Director at HFW from January 2010 to July 2017, and Head of HR at Fieldfisher from December 2001 to September 2009. Before that, they worked as an HR Officer at Storm Telecommunications Ltd from May 2000 to September 2001, and at Standard Chartered Bank from June 1997 to April 2000.

James Collinge has a diverse education history. In 1980-1988, they attended Stamford Endowed Schools, where they did not obtain a degree. Following this, they pursued a BA Law (Hons) degree at The University of Sheffield from 1989-1992. In 1997-1999, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Strategies from London Metropolitan University.

James'seducation continued in 2005 when they became a Chartered Member of THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PERSONNEL AND DEVELOPMENT. In 2018, they enrolled in AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching, where they received a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching. Additionally, in the same year, they became a Chartered Fellow of THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PERSONNEL AND DEVELOPMENT.

Apart from their formal education, James Collinge has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2016, they received the Mental Health First Aid Standard certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. In 2017, they obtained the Coaching Skills Certificate from AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching, as well as the Insights Discovery Client Practitioner certification from Insights. James'smost recent certification is First Aid At Work, which they obtained from St John Ambulance in April 2023.
